The Media Pro development finance aims to identify and support emerging filmmakers: screenwriters, writer/directors and writer, director, producer teams and supports projects across the full range of budgets and genres. This programme aims to finance films with passion and verve that connect with a broad range of audiences.  The first tranche of funding focussed on script development and recent examples of projects funded through this scheme are:

The Arc
Logline: An action-heavy, fast-paced screenplay in which a newlywed wife must fight aliens and US paramilitaries to rescue her husband from extra terrestrial imprisonment within a dormant volcano.

Dinner With Dracula:
Logline: ‘Dinner with Dracula’ is very funny comedy about two incompetent vampires bickering their way through the centuries.
